“Our first project with QualCraft and Mike JacobsBonnett more than 10 years ago was a 5000 bottle wine cellar room addition; a tricky project with moisture barrier, thicker insulation, 2×6 instead of 2×4 joists, drain, special construction requirements and split refrigeration systems. Three month projectcompleted on time (+/ a week), on budget, with absolutely outstanding quality. From the day it was finished it didn’t look like a room addition from the outside. We have walked through a high end custom home they did during construction, excellent quality. Since then they have done several major remodels (including walls moved) in several rooms of our home and some of our rental properties; same QualCraft signature: everyday the work site is left clean (very rarely seen with most contractors), project very close to on time and within budget, helpful suggestions along the way (choice of price/quality items and alternate ideas to consider utilizing the latest equipment and quality), and a very responsive, easily reached general contractor (Mike) who keeps close watch on all his project sites. They have done a major trek deck construction (2200 sq ft) on a steep hillside with retaining wall for us that is beautiful and admired by everyone who sees it. They do top quality work, if you are looking for cheap and easy, go elsewhere. Mike is very smart, very experienced, and takes pride in his work. We had one problem that came to light about a year after project completion; they were all over it. It turned out that one of their subs (which have always reflected the QualCraft standard) made an unintentional and undiscovered error that was difficult to diagnose (required very expensive remote fiber optic video to find); we got number one priority, no cost spared, in diagnosing the difficult problem and fixing it. They stand behind their work. I recommend them highly without reservations.”
